CSG PRO

AI image generation
was never the
hard part.

The hard part is knowing what you're trying to make before you make it. Knowing how to describe a feeling, a light source, a power dynamic, a surface texture — with enough specificity that the model actually does what you intend instead of what it assumes.

CSG PRO is a 7-layer visual direction system built for creative directors who are tired of generating 40 images to find one that works. It's not a prompt library. It's a framework for thinking about images the way a director thinks about them — before the camera rolls.

Why It Exists

Most people are prompting.
Very few are directing.

There's a difference between describing what you want and knowing how to construct a visual. Prompting is describing. Directing is understanding — the relationship between subject and environment, the way light reveals or conceals, the lens choice that changes the power dynamic, the render parameters that determine whether something feels photographed or fabricated.

After years of AI creative direction — across healthcare campaigns, new business pitches, spec work, and independent projects — I kept solving the same problem: how do you translate creative intent into consistent, repeatable AI output? CSG PRO is the answer I built for myself, formalized into a system anyone can use.

The seven layers came from reverse-engineering what I was actually doing when the images worked. Not the prompts — the thinking behind the prompts. That's what the system captures.

The Seven Layers
01
Scene Foundation
The world the image lives in. Not just location — the logic of the environment. Industrial? Domestic? Liminal? The foundation determines everything that can happen inside it.
02
Character / Subject
Who or what is in the frame, and what do they carry. Posture, archetype, relationship to the camera. The subject is always in conversation with the environment — this layer defines what they're saying.
03
Environment / Location
The specific physics of the space. Texture, scale, depth. What's in focus and what's not. The difference between "warehouse" and "abandoned industrial space with corrugated iron and concrete dust" is everything.
04
Lighting Conditions
The most underspecified element in most prompts and the one that matters most. Direction, temperature, quality, source. Raking sidelight reads differently than diffused overcast. Every emotional register has a light.
05
Lens / Camera Specs
Focal length, aperture, format. A 35mm at f/1.4 is a different argument than a 85mm at f/8. The lens choice is a power choice — it determines the relationship between the viewer and the subject.
06
Mood / Atmosphere
The felt experience of the image. Not the subject matter — the register. Tension. Stillness. Menace. Warmth. This layer bridges the visual elements into an emotional argument.
07
Render Parameters
Photographic or illustrated? Grain, sharpness, color science. The difference between something that reads as found and something that reads as made. The final calibration of reality.
How It Works
01
Build Your Direction
Work through the seven layers in sequence. The app guides you through each one with context and examples. By the time you reach layer seven, you've built a complete visual brief — not a description, a direction.
02
Generate With Intent
Take your structured direction into any AI image tool — Midjourney, Gemini Flash, Firefly. The framework is model-agnostic. What changes is the quality and consistency of what comes back. Less iteration. More signal.
03
Save and Repeat
Save your direction profiles. Reuse layers across projects. Build a library of proven visual setups. The system gets more valuable the more you use it — because your past directions become your new starting points.
Who It's For

Creative directors who are spending more time regenerating than creating — and know the problem is in the direction, not the tool.

Brand strategists and designers who need to produce consistent visual language across a campaign without a full production team.

Agency creative leads who want to use AI in pitches and production without the output looking like it came from a prompt generator.

Founders and brand owners building visual identity without a creative director on staff — who need a system that gives their instincts a structure to work within.

Stop prompting.
Start directing.

CSG PRO is live at csgpro.app. Built for the creative directors who already know there's a better way to work — and want a system that proves it.
